Find the keywords that actually matter
Not every repeated word in a job description is important. Focus on tools, responsibilities, seniority signals, domain terms, and measurable outcomes that connect to the role.
For example, a frontend developer role may care about React, accessibility, design systems, performance, testing, and API integration. A product role may care more about roadmap, discovery, metrics, stakeholders, and launch ownership.
Map keywords to real experience
Once you identify target keywords, place them where they naturally belong. Skills can list tools, but experience bullets should prove how you used them.
If a keyword is important but not part of your experience, do not force it. Use adjacent truthful language or leave it out.
